To “standardize” your conductivity probe in the Advanced Level

of Operation

1. Access the conductivity Setup screen and verify the values for

the nominal cell constant of the probe, the reference temperature

and the temperature coefficient. Also, verify that the meter is set

for the uS/cm units.

2. Touch std on the Conductivity Measure screen to access the

Conductivity Standardization screen.

3. Immerse the conductivity and ATC probes in the standard with a

known conductivity value and stir.

4. Touch clear to delete previous standardization values.

5. Touch std to access the standardization mode again.

6. Use the keypad on the display screen to enter the value of the

known conductivity standard.

7. Touch enter on the keypad to accept this conductivity standard

and return to the conductivity measure screen.

The actual cell constant will be displayed in the data box at the

bottom of the conductivity measure screen.



It is important to condition your conductivity probe according to the

manufacturer’s instructions prior to use.

You will only need one conductivity standard to standardize the

meter.
