5.2 Text Import Wizard- Step 1 of 3

Once you open a “.dat” file from the CyberComm folder, a screen will appear. See Figure 23.

Fields

Delimited/ Fixed width

Default: ‘Delimited’

Select between delimited and fixed width for the preferred output layout of the file.

Start import at row

Default = ‘1’

Select the row of data to start importing into the Microsoft Excel


